Did you know that only 7% of all snake species are venomous and even fewer actually pose any danger to humans, yet most are regarded as venomous or dangerous. Often regarded as dangerous, slimey and disgusting creatures, snakes do bring balance to nature. If not for snakes, for example, nature would be overrun with potentially disease carrying rats . Arguably, they are one of Mother Nature's least appreciated creatures, but we love snakes at Reptile Encounters, where we exhibit our collection of more than 70 different varieties of snakes and exotic creatures.
